Neuschwanstein Castle

ノイシュヴァンシュタイン城へ行ってきました。残念ながら今日は雨。お城はここWiesbadenからロマンチック街道の終わり、435km南にあります。シンデレラ場のモデルになったお城で、ルードヴィヒ2世により建設されました。朝10時半に出発し、4時間かけて車で行きました。ドイツのアウトバーン(高速道路)はスピード制限がない為、時速180kmで走っていた時でさえ隣から抜いていく車がいました。この国でベンツやBMWのようなパワルフな車が開発されたことに納得がいきます。そうでないと、パワー不足で高速走れません。おそるべし、アウトバーン。さて、お城の

麓へ到着。チケット売り場へ行き、お城内のツアーチケット、麓からのシャトルバスのチケットを購入。雨と風で寒いのなんの、みんなバス乗り場でイライラ、割り込みなんてなんのその。ということで様々なイライラを乗り越えてようやくお城へ到着。

曇っていましたが、お城全体の大きさは認識でき、曇りや霧が神秘的な雰囲気をかもし出していました。そんな綺麗なお城を目の前にし、私がいつも思うこと・・・それは、お城を建てる時の部下たちの苦労を想像し、立地条件をじっと見回しなんとなく複雑な気分になります。私が王様なら部下にそんな苦労させるなんてとても考えられません。こんな所に建てたら、王様自身も孤立した生活を送ることになりそうですし・・・。

それはさておき、外からは滝とつり橋、かすかにアルプス山脈が見えます。霧に覆われた幻想的な雰囲気でした。晴れていたらさぞかし絶景であったことでしょう。中は青と金色基調の落ち着いた内装で、窓は景色の位置がよく計算されたような配置でした。ルードヴィヒは生涯孤独であり、精神病と判断され軟禁の為、ベルン城へ送られました。その翌日、近くの湖畔で、医師と共に死体が発見されています。41歳の若さで亡くなりました。そんな理由か、お城には孤独で悲しい雰囲気が漂う感じがしました。雨と寒さのせいだったのでしょうか・・・。2月にスペインとポルトガルの宮殿・城に行った時は、美しい庭や家族の為の部屋がありとても温かな素敵な雰囲気で、花の咲く春がよくに似合う造りでしたが、このお城は雪景色が似合う感じでなんとも対照的な印象でした。

さて、夕食は麓のレストランへ。店員はアルプルスタイルの衣装をまとっていました。ドイツでは犬も店内に入ってくることができ、立派なハスキー犬(もう少し狼に近い顔をしたような感じでしたが・・・)が途中入ってきました。マッシュドポテトとサワークラフトの上に、ソーセージが載ったものと、食後にケーキを食べました。疲れた体が癒されました。。

(We went to  Neuschwanstein castle. Sadly, it’s rainy today. The castle stands on the end of the romantic route, 435kms south from here Wiesbaden. That was a model of Cinderella Castle and built by Ludwig II. We left here at 10:30 and driving there took four hours. Some of cars passed through our car even if it ran at speed of 180 kms per hour because there is no speed limit on the autobahn. I was satisfied that powerful cars such as Benz and BMW were invented in this country. Otherwise, no one can drive on the highway. How scary the autobahn is. Well, we arrived at the roots of the castle and bought tour tickets of the castle and shuttle bus tickets. Everyone looked to be irritated at a shuttle bus stand due to the terrible cold and the strong rainy. We arrived at castle with much difficulty. We could see how big it is even in the cloud and fog, covered in mysterious air. What I think about whenever I stand in front of such like beautiful castle is how building was difficult for followers. I looked around that location with complicated feelings. It’s impossible for me to make followers strain, if I were in his place. Besides, he would be isolated himself.

By the way, the waterfall, suspension bridge and a faint Alps could be seen outside, that scene was fantastic in the fog. It must be very beautiful under the nice weather. Interior decoration on blue and gold basis was calm air and designed something like taking the beautiful view into account. Ludwig has lived a single life and being sent to Bern castle after judged as mental illness. Next day, his body was found around near lake with his doctor. He was just 41 years old. That was why I felt something lonely and sad about this castle. Or because of the rain and the cold? When I visited some castles and palaces in Spain and Portugal on Feb, I felt warmth on gardens and rooms for family. Those seemed to match with spring flowers blooming. But Neuschwanstein castl looked good in the snow. I was so impressed with their contrast.

Now, our dinner was at the roots. Waitresses wore costume in Alps style. Dogs can enter inside in Germany, so a excellent husky came in which looked like wolf. I ate sausages on mashed-potatoes and sauerkraut, plus a cakel. I could recover from fatigue with meal.)
