Shopping at downtown Wiesbaden

久々の晴天の中、今日は一人でショッピングを満喫してました。といっても無職の私は贅沢禁物なのでお財布に優しいH＆Mへ。リゾートをイメージして買いそろえたアイテムはこちら↓↓↓

結果、無職の私にはちょっぴり贅沢な買い物になってしまいました。このサングラス、先月ミネアポリスで同じものをみかけましたが最後の一品で少し欠陥があり購入を断念したものです。本日同じものを発見し、更にセールプライスの半額で購入できました。ラッキー～！！
( I enjoyed shopping by myself in the sunshine that I haven't seen these days. However I'm out of work and I should avoid luxuries, so I went to H&M which must be mild to my purse. I bought these items as I imagined the style of resorts!!! ⇒
Finally, this shopping was a little bit luxury for me: the unemployed. I found the same sunglasses in the pic that were sold at Minneapolis: there were only the defective last one and I didn't buy. But, I could get it at a sale price by 50% off. Lucky!! )

Roses

ホテルのエレベーターに乗るとき、扉が開いた瞬間驚くことがありました。狭い

エレベータの中に2人の警官がいたのです。更にロビーへ出ると100人くらいの警官たちが立ち話をしていました。駐車場や道路には何十台もの警察の車が・・・。いったい何事かと思いましたが、事件ではなさそうなので素通りすることに。

今日は午後2時頃からイタリアンを食べたいと思っていたのでイタリアンレストランへ行きました。店員はイタリア人のようでした。最近喧嘩ばかりしていた私たちでしたが、食事中にようやく蟠りがとけて来て、仲良く話していたところにバラ売りのおじさんが登場しました。マルクが3本のバラを購入し、プレゼントしてくれました。もらった瞬間、｢すごくフレッシュなバラだよ。｣とコメント。すごく嬉しかったけど、外国人のように大きなリアクションなんて恥ずかしくてできません。

今日は外を歩いている人たちが何故かドレスアップしています。外にでると高校生くらいの若者がお酒混じりで騒いでいました。中には親と一緒にいる子もいて、どうやら卒業式があったようです。スーパーマーケットでお酒を買わせてもらえない子たちもいました。警官もパトロールしており、ホテルで見かけた警官たちはこのために集まっていたんだと納得しました。今日のホテルはバーもジムも警官だらけでした。。

When I took the elevator, I had a surprise as soon as the door was opened. Two police officers were in the small elevator. Besides, about a hundred police were talking at a hotel lobby. There were several tens of police cars at the parking and along the road. I had no idea about what happened, but it didn’t seem to be crimes. So I just passed without stopping on my way.

I have wanted to eat Italian food since around 2pm. So, we went to go to Italian restaurant. Staffs there were the Italian. We often had quarrels recently. But we have recovered from bad feelings little by little during dinner and talked at peace. Suddenly, an old guy selling roses appeared. Marc bought three roses for me. The moment he gave me, I just said “It’s very fresh.” I was so happy, but I couldn’t take a big reaction like western people because of shyness.

Many people walking on the street were dressed up somehow. Young apparently high school students made noise. Some of them were with their parents. Police were patrolling, so I understood why many police were at hotel. A bar and a gym at hotel today were flooded with police… 

Gift

昨日はマルクと大喧嘩。その余波は続いており、天気も悪いし、遅くまでゴロゴロ寝ていると、マルクが｢ランドリーに行ってくる｣と言って出かけていきました。ラウンドリーはここから車で10分くらいのところにあります。とりあえずシャワーを浴びて、インターネットでいろいろ検索していたところ、マルクが帰ってきました。そして昨日の引き続きの喧嘩。疲れた。。
一方、彼はラウンドリー中に傘もささずに、シーフードマーーケットとベーカリーショップでパンやサンドウィッチ、えびのサラダなどを走り回って買ってきてくれたようです。約12時間以上ただ怒り続けている私に対して、洗濯、買い物、パソコン内整理などまめだなーと感心。これから夜中まで仕事で大変なのに、気を遣ってくれてありがとう。私の子供っぽさに反省、反省。
さて、写真のフルーツ、これはホテルからのお詫びの品。クリーニングに出すようフロントに頼んだものが2、3日放置され、引き取り確認の電話をするとまだフロントにありました。こんなことが2回続いたので、マルクが苦情の申し立てをすると、昨晩フロントへ行きました。フロントのお姉さんはとても親切で少しかわいかったようで、苦情を言えず、苦情の記入用紙をもらってきて一生懸命裏面にもわたり書いていました。そんなわけで、フルーツ、戦利品を勝ち得ました。

(We had a big quarrel yesterday. Aftereffect still has continued up to this morning. I was idling away on the bed in the dismal weather, while Marc left for the laundry which stands 10 minutes away from here by the car. After his leaving, I took a shower and surfed the internet. Shortly, he came back. As soon as he arrived, we started the sequel to the quarrel from yesterday again. I was so tired…

On the other hand, he run to the seafood market and the bakery without an umbrella and got bread, sandwiches and a shrimp salad during the waiting time for the laundry. I was great for his diligence; doing the laundry, getting ready for lunch and arrangement of this PC, against me just keeping angry for 12 hours. I appreciated his kindness, though he would work until midnight. I reflected on myself about my childish attitude.

Well, fruits in the picture are a gift as a mark of apology from the hotel. He asked the hotel laundry service, but they have left for a few days. He found their negligence by a call for asking about the date of receiving. Such things continued twice successively, he went down for complaint to the reception. A lady at the reception seemed to be kind and a little bit cute for him, then he missed his mission and just brought back the form for complaint. He wrote down very hard over the reverse. So that, we won these fruits.)

Sheep

メガネショップの店頭に置かれた変な羊を発見！！長靴とメガネ身に付けてます。今日は雨。やる気がでないメー。英語だと鳴き声は｢メー｣でなく｢baa｣または｢bleat｣だそうです。
(I found a strange sheep standing at eyeglasses shop! He had boots and glasses on. It's raining now. I feel dull baa. A cry of sheep isn't "Mee", but"baa" or "bleat" in English.)

Green curry

最近、タイやベトナム料理にはまっている私たち。たまたま素敵なタイレストランを見かけ入ってみ

ました。6時半頃の早めの入店だったので、誰もいませんでしたが、次々と来店客が・・・。中には、日本女性とドイツ人男性、ハーフの女の子の家族も。鳩の？入れ物に入ったグリーンカレー美味しかった！！マルクが店員に「サワディカーｯプ」(タイ語でありがとうの意味)と言ったところ、きょとんとした顔をされてしまいました。タイ人じゃなかったのね・・・(恥)。

(We are addicted to Thai and Vietnamese food recently. We happened to see the nice Thai restaurant and came in. Is no one there because of an early time, guests have came gradually. There was a family that members were a Japanese woman, a German guy and a  half girl between them. The green curry served with a dish in shape of pigeon(?) was so delicious! Marc said to waiter "Sawadee Kurb", but that waiter looked at us with a blank look. He wasn't a Thai...)

Neuschwanstein Castle

ノイシュヴァンシュタイン城へ行ってきました。残念ながら今日は雨。お城はここWiesbadenからロマンチック街道の終わり、435km南にあります。シンデレラ場のモデルになったお城で、ルードヴィヒ2世により建設されました。朝10時半に出発し、4時間かけて車で行きました。ドイツのアウトバーン(高速道路)はスピード制限がない為、時速180kmで走っていた時でさえ隣から抜いていく車がいました。この国でベンツやBMWのようなパワルフな車が開発されたことに納得がいきます。そうでないと、パワー不足で高速走れません。おそるべし、アウトバーン。さて、お城の

麓へ到着。チケット売り場へ行き、お城内のツアーチケット、麓からのシャトルバスのチケットを購入。雨と風で寒いのなんの、みんなバス乗り場でイライラ、割り込みなんてなんのその。ということで様々なイライラを乗り越えてようやくお城へ到着。

Bar-hopping

土曜日らしく過ごしたい、ということでディナーのあとIrish Pub とcafe barに行ってきました。ディナーはアラビア街のトルコ料理レストラン。アラビア人混じりの混雑した店内に気後れしそうになりながら何とか注文。ケバブを頼んだところ、想像していたものとは違うものが・・・、ヨーグルトを添えたケバブとナンのようなパンが別にでてきました。美味しかったけど何のお肉だったのか不明です。

その後、lonely planet(ガイドブック)お勧めのIrish pubへ。Irish beerのKilkennyはGuinnessのハーフハンドハーフのような味でとってもクリーミーでした。カントリーミュージック中心の生ライブは私のタイプではないのでちょっとがっかり。そのまま帰ってしまうのは寂しいので、もう一軒!!

今度はオシャレなカフェバーへ。今度は私好みの音楽が流れていて大正解!!楽しかった～☆

(We wanted to spend a lovely Saturday, and then we made the round of Irish Pubs and a cafe bar after dinner. We enjoyed a Turkish restaurant for dinner in the Arabic district. We barely ordered after nearly losing our nerves in the chaos among many Arabian. I got different things : kebab with yogurt and a long bread that looked like an Indian naan bread. That kebab was so tasty, though I couldn't recognize what kind of meat that was in the end.

After dinner, we left for an Irish pub that was suggested in lonely planet. We both enjoyed a n Irish beer: Kilkenny that tastes like a "half & half" of Guinness and was very creamy. We could see a live band over there but unfortunately their music was not my type. If we had gone back to our hotel at that moment, I'd have been sorry for tonight. So, we said let's go to another place!

Next, we tried a cool cafe-bar. That was exactly the right place because songs were my type there!! We could really enjoy☆)
